Morocco: Developing and protecting the Ifrane cedar forests in Morocco
Morocco’s Ifrane province is home to the most beautiful cedar forests in the Mediterranean Basin. They are however now under threat of overexploitation. Haiti: Improving the health situation by supporting Haitian NGOs
AFD has been helping to support efforts by both NGOs and public authorities for several years in Haiti. In 2004 AFD decided to support the NGO Zanmi Lasante and, in 2005, the GHESKIO Centers for the fight against HIV/AIDS.
